Here you'll find information on how to apply for ward's admission to GIS

We are glad that you are considering Greenshield International School for your child. GIS delivers on our mission and vision through our three-year strategic plan.

Please know that Greenshield International School is committed to principles of diversity, equality, inclusion and justice in education. The school does not discriminate against individuals in the administration of its educational or admissions guidelines.

We want to ensure that you have everything you need to make an informed decision and that your child's admission experience is a success.

Our Admission Procedure

1. Assessment Fee

A non-refundable Placement Assessment fee of Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢50.00) is charged.

2. Maths, Science and English Assessment

Placement assessments in Mathematics, Science and English Language are conducted for prospective pupils.

3. Performance Review

Discussion of child’s performance with parent or guardian

4. If the child is successful in the assessment

Parent or guardian pays a one-time Admission fee.
School issues Parent Guardian with school bill for payment.
The School issues the application package.
Fill in the form and return it with ALL requirements attached.
The parent or guardian collects a signed admission letter.
The child reports to the school office to collect an “Entry Ticket” to give to teacher

5. Acceptance

Child’s particulars are taken

Our Admission Requirement:

Pupils are grouped to ability and not according to ages. Admission is granted only if there is vacancy in the recommended class. Children 3 years and above are assessed.

Please note that pupils below 5yrs must present a copy of their vaccination card
